Casting and machining
Modernisation is the key to satisfying demanding customers
More than 100 years of experience in the production of castings. We specialize in high-volume castings of ductile and grey cast iron weighing 0.1 to 3 kg, which are used in a wide range of applications. Modern production and machining technologies meet the uncompromising quality requirements of the parts supplied. The resulting products of the foundry and machining plant are therefore supplied to the railway sector, automotive and other industries. In the case of machined parts, we use modern multi-axis machine tools, CNC milling machines and fully robotized workplaces.
Making castings
The metal is prepared in two medium-frequency induction furnaces with a capacity of 3 tons. Automatic casting and moulding equipment produces castings which are then stripped of the sprue system and mould residues, blasted and ground. The output inspection then checks the quality of all castings before dispatch. Ductile iron castings are in high demand for their unique mechanical properties, such as ductility and strength, and are a critical part of our product range.
We produce in batches of thousands of pieces from 0.1 to 3 kg with a maximum size of 300 x 400 mm.
Machining of castings
In the new machine shop we work with the state of the art equipment.
We process ductile and grey cast iron castings weighing from 0.1 to 6 kg with a maximum dimension of 800 x 900 mm. We machine with a precision of 8μm.

Thanks to continuous improvement of product quality, modernisation of production, complexity and strict control, our products find satisfied customers across many industries in the Czech Republic and especially abroad.
The most important customer segments include the automotive and railway industry, passenger car air conditioning and agricultural machinery.
Quality system and quality management
For each heat and casting we perform mechanical tests of materials, checking the chemical composition of the material, microstructure of the material, dimensions, cracks, revision of surface defects, etc.
References
We successfully supply the products of our foundry and machine shop to major customers in the industry. For example, we have long-standing cooperation with KNORR BREMSE in the supply of parts for railway cars, especially brake components, with GNUTTI CARLO, a supplier of valve lifters for internal combustion engines for trucks, and AGCO Corporation, a manufacturer of agricultural machinery. Our castings can also be found in the compressors of passenger car air conditioning units that we manufacture for the VALEO Group.
